Classes Guidelines

TECHNIQUE CLASS

Technique class helps to improve our Tango. This class is suitable for students who finished B2 and above. Techniques maybe different each week.  

We focus on strengthening and improving Individual technique (understanding your body muscles; awareness, Alignment, Floor work with stretching & exercises; Posture & Balance, use of hips, Free legs and Footwork, movements) After stretching and bodywork, we will work on walking, pivot, giro on musicality and some embellishments.
*Please wear pants and bring bring a pair of socks and shoes*

BEGINNER CLASSES 1 - 2

This class is for absolute beginners 1 to beginners 2 with or out without dance experience.   Existing beginners may join as we encourage students to retake and refresh to improve their basics.   During the class, you will learn basic tango walk, embrace, postures, tempo, basic patterns in line of dance for beginners.  *levels 1-3 may changed due to class progressing circumstances*.

OPEN CLASS

This class is suitable for students who had finished their beginner 2 class, Improver or higher level. Focus and refine on walk and embrace, connections and dancing with music, learning navigation and floor crafts, preparing for milonga social Level. 

INTERMEDIATE 1 CLASS

This class suitable for students who finished their open class and above or minimum 9 months to a year.
You will learn simple social sequences, which can be applied on the dance floor in the line of dance.

INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCE CLASS

This class is suitable for students who has finished at least 3 year of intermediate level.
We focus on more quality dance and movements, more complex sequences and routines, that requires more body disassociation etc.

MILONGA / VALS CLASS (THEME)

This class is suitable for students who have been dancing Tango for sometime. (Intermediate level)
Figures and steps. How to apply the Milonga / Vals steps on the dance floor with music. 

SPECIAL PERFORMANCE CLASS

This class is for existing Students who wants to learn special choreographed dance and performing during SITF (or special events).   Dance will be choreographed by the teachers and the students must be able to commit to practise and attend class as many as possible.
